The Bar le Talbert is a Breton bar through and through. A great way to learn more about why Bretons love their culture so much. Proud? Yes. Arrogant? No – come and see!
This is a Breton bar and no mistake! With the Breton flag flying, a wooden bar with carved Breton stoats, lighthouse-shaped draft pumps and vintage photos of the town as it once was all around you, it’s all one big family here– even if some of its members are outside playing boules! Bretons are just as likely to be out fishing, but they’ll be back soon, boasting about the day’s catch over a beer with bar manager Laurent. The youngsters are kept busy playing music for their elders and learning about line fishing in the afternoons - whatever everyone’s up to, they come back every year to celebrate a very special Breton saint with their music, that saint being - Saint Laurent!
