The dandy Indian’s back

Picture 1 Jamiroquaï

Jamiroquai: diva of the dance-floor with the smoothed-out, far-out voice. This space cowboy encapsulated the 90s sound and now the last of the Mohicans is bringing his unique brand of acid jazz with an Iroquois twist to the stage again. Snap up the chance to groove to the Jay-Kay beat!

Jamiroquai has returned to planet earth with his unique blend of improvised jazz laced with a flavour of that Native American love of liberty and nature. During the 90s, London dance-floors were a stage for Jay-Kay’s creative talent and energy with a sound that the music studios thought could only come from a sultry black female diva, till they saw the buffalo-man himself in the flesh. The rest is history and this elfin, effervescent music man with the eccentric headgear burst onto the music scene with When you gonna learn in 1992, Emergency on planet earth in 1993 and Return of space cowboy in 1994. The London-bred Dandy Indian collected musical triumphs the way an Indian collects buffalo-hides, and the smoke signals for the Vieilles Charrues are spelling it out loud and clear: the London shaman is back, and it’s time to gather the tribe of clubbers and soul-funk-disco fans for a huge welcome!
